Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s (NDS) Community Food Program is continuing its efforts to fight hunger in the Philadelphia region by participating in the nation-wide Souper Bowl of Caring collection.

In an effort to double the impact, CAS Group is challenging others in the Philadelphia region to help fight food insecurity by pledging to match all donations made to NDS now though January 18th dollar-for-dollar up to the amount of $50,000.

Convergence Acceleration Solutions Group is also challenging others to help fight food insecurity by matching donations to Nutritional Development Services dollar-for-dollar up to the up to the amount of $50,000. Families, adults, senior citizens, and children across the Philadelphia region who are in need of nutritious sustenance in the face of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic are receiving a boost thanks to a $50,000 donation from Convergence Acceleration Solutions Group (CAS) to Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (NDS). The donated funds will be used to support NDS’ Community Food Program and help stock the shelves of its network of over 50 food cupboards located throughout the five-county metropolitan area. Funds will also be used to purchase meals for those in critical need of support and be distributed through NDS sponsored community food distributions. Ms. Lizanne Hagedorn, Executive Director of NDS said, “NDS is pleased to be teaming up with CAS Group, an independent consulting firm that provides advisory services in the telecommunication industry, to provide increased food assistance to those in the region. Through its work with Philadelphia-based service provider Comcast, CAS Group is familiar with the Philadelphia area and is committed to helping those who call it home. Nutritional Development Services To Hold Community Food Distribution In North Philadelphia And Distribute Over 1,000 “Farmers To Families” Food Boxes To Those Impacted By The COVID-19 Pandemic

Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (NDS), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) “Farmers to Families” Food Box Program, will distribute free food to individuals and families impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and facing food insecurity. The pre-packaged food boxes, which supports American farmers and families affected by the pandemic, will contain 10 pounds of nourishing produce, five pounds of meat, and five pounds of dairy products.
